Using some of the proceeds from the sale of their business, the family set up and became Trustees of the Norman Family Charitable Trust in 1979.
The aim was to help worthy causes in the South West. The Charity has its own funds endowed by the Norman Family. It does not undertake any fundraising activities and does not have the need for any volunteer workers. The Charity’s Statutory Accounts are filed with the Charity Commission. Since its founding more than £8 million has been given away through over 9,000 grants.
