Roger W Cozens will give a talk about Adaptation to climate change in the Nepal Himalaya
Roger will focus his talk on the subsistence agriculture sector and the steps taken to make positive changes for peoples’ livelihoods. There will also be a description of the process taken to submit the Nepal Adaptation Plan to the COP 24 conference and subsequent issues relating to ” loss and damage” as it applies to the Asian situation.
Roger W Cozens BSc, MSc, FBIAC is principal consultant of Greenacres Consultancy ( which he launched in the year 2000 ) . He has lived in Nepal for 9 years, 2 years in Cambodia and 2 years in Bangladesh. Since he began his consultancy business he has worked on projects in agricultural development in 22 countries around the world mainly in Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe . He was given an award by the Duke of Gloucester for “Poverty alleviation in Nepal”, is a Fellow of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants (BIAC) and a member of the Tropical Agriculture Association .
