Over fifteen years, the annual Sidmouth Science Festival has become one of the most popular festivals in Devon, bringing science, discovery and curiosity to people of all ages. Thanks to our sponsors and partners, this year we can continue to offer a programme that makes science accessible to as many people as possible, with most activities being free or low cost.
Putting on a festival of this size involves many costs, and we regularly review how these can be removed or reduced. The festival is run entirely by volunteers and funded through grants, sponsorship and donations.
We recognise that these are challenging financial times, and securing sponsorship is becoming more difficult. If your organisation is in a position to support us, we would be delighted to hear from you. Your sponsorship would help us continue to inspire young people and adults, support science education and highlight the opportunities that science and technology can offer.
For your organisation it would provide a positive association with a popular and well-established community festival, with sponsors recognised through our programme, at festival venues and on social media.
