“Facts and Factoids – how much of what we say to each other is actually true”

Wednesday 12th October 2016 7:30PM – 7:30PM

As scientists we exchange information by repeating facts which we have good reason to believe to be true – but how often do we believe information which is clearly unreliable?  This talk will explore a range of myths, mistakes, half-truths and downright lies that have been passed off as true facts.”

This even has been organised jointly with the Sid Vale Association.

Venue: Parish Church, EX10 8NB

Price: £2, cash only at the door.
