Why the first hours after an accident is so critical – a talk by Dr Lewis Jones.

Dr Lewis Jones is the clinical lead for the Emergency Department in the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust.  He has been a consultant in the A&E department there since 2005.  He has previously worked in both the A&E and Intensive Care units in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.  As well as his NHS career he has a keen interest in sports medicine and has worked with the Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club providing pitchside trauma care for the last 12 seasons.
