Jo Richardson and “Space Detectives” once again return to this year’s festival.
Jo is one of the ESERO-UK Space Ambassadors working on the Tim Peake Primary Project (now in its second year) in various schools across the South West.
As part of the NLO Science Celebrations, Jo will this year run a “Space Case” workshop which is a scientific look at material properties and their suitability for use within a space craft build.
In addition: Representatives from the Lunar Mission One project will join Jo. This is an international space science and exploration mission and they will place this historic record in the Moon where it could survive for a billion years. Together we will establish a global legacy of inspiration and education in science, technology, culture and space for generations to come.
Venue: one of the marquees in the grounds of the Norman Lockyer Observatory, EX10 0NY
