We are thinking of women around the world and their many talents and achievements. In particular we celebrate the women playing a critical role in science, technology, engineering and maths.
We are honoured to be supported by women at the start of their careers in science and those who are now leaders in their fields in STEM learning, research and applications.
We applaud the many talented women who give up their time as speakers and event leaders at the science festival, helping to engage and enthuse future generations of scientists.
We thank the women on the festival planning group who have a wide range of skills and talents and who, for many years, have worked hard as volunteers to put the programme together and ensure everything runs smoothly and successfully.
