Winners of the School Art exhibition


The first prize was won by Feniton Primary School Year 5 with their snow and ice art. They had made fabulous images of snow, ice and cold starry nights. many frozen elements beautifully and individually described.

The second prize was won by Sidmouth Primary School Foxes class. Their artwork had a great connection between science and design with lots of beautiful ice crystals and clouds.

The third prize was won by Awliscombe C of E Kingfisher Year 5/6. Their work was individual, creative, imaginative and beautifully executed.

HIGHLY COMMENDED:

Sidmouth Primary – Eagles Class Year 5/6 with their high impact work describing sun baked and cracked earth very effectively. Great link to the effects of climate change.

St John’s school Year 3 produced really artistic interpretations of different weather scenes.

Whimple Primary School –  Beech class produced a lovely comic interpretation of monster weather!
