Entry Adults £15, Children (ages 0-17) free. The entry fee covers all the activities on site for the day except for the jet car kits. Doors open 10:30. Events start at 11:00. You can pay on the door or book in advance. Bookings open early September. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Planetarium shows will be ticketed (no extra charge) to manage capacity. On arrival, you are recommended to book a ticket for the time you wish to avoid disappointment.
Get ready for an out-of-this-world day at Sidmouth’s famous observatory! Build and launch your own rocket, discover how telescopes reveal the wonders of the universe and journey through the stars in the planetarium. Have a go at the ever-popular jet car building and racing, enjoy fascinating stories and hear from expert speakers. There’s something to spark everyone’s curiosity!

This year there are four space-themed talks – Planet-forming discs with the James Webb Space Telescope, The quest for new worlds, Chaos in weather forecasting and Space Weather.
Food and drink are available onsite all day or bring a picnic and use the benches and tables outdoors.
A quiet space has been set aside for anyone who needs to take time out. Please respect the needs of other users.
