Join us for a day of four fascinating events exploring the remarkable marine life of our local coast. Discover dolphins, seals, seabirds, seahorses and the creatures found along our shores, meet marine conservation experts, learn about strandings and citizen science, and find out how you can help monitor and protect the wildlife that shares our seas.
All the events are free of charge. You can just turn up to the talks, but the coastal watch must be pre-booked.
The day consists of the following four events:
- Coast Watch at Connaught Gardens : Booking Essential (10:00am to 12:00pm in Connaught Gardens)
- Discovering Marine Wildlife (2:00pm to 2:30pm in the Cellar Bar, Kennaway House)
- Devon Marine Strandings Network (2:30pm to 3:00pm in the Cellar Bar, Kennaway House)
- Little Horse of the Sea (3:15pm to 4:15pm in the Cellar Bar, Kennaway House)
